The winter rain and snow are now after thoughts. It’s time to exchange your boots for sandals and your coats for a pair of shorts; summer is here and we have the perfect way for you to start your summer off right.
How does an evening of Jazz and Reggae with talented artists such as David P. Stevens and Lin Rountree sound to you? To me it sounds like the perfect ingredients for the best local music event of the summer.
For the past seven years the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival has been the best way to toss the rain boots away and usher in the summer, properly. The music will soothe your soul as you relax in the warm weather and listen to the sounds of musicians like the Fame Jazz Band, Brian Simpson, Euge Groove and Jackiem Joyner.
David P. Stevens is also releasing his album on July 7, 2016, so come out and support him at the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival. The festival is a weekend event starting with a Pre-Festival Jazz Session on July 7, 2016 and concluding with the Sunday Gospel Jazz Brunch on July 10, 2016. The weekend also features the Lake Arbor Jazz Festival Wine and Beer Lounge. This will be a weekend to remember.
An entire weekend packed with soulful sounds from local and national artists in warm weather, who could ask for a better way to spend your lazy summer day?
